Each signed and numbered piece is a one of a kind creation. The leaves and petals are cut with an oxy/acetylene torch, hammered into the natural shape, and then welded into place. The metal's beautiful hues are obtained through the process of oxidation, and unless otherwise noted, no paints were used to color the metal. Beautiful color variations are coaxed into
existence by controlling certain aspects of the environment in which the oxidation or patina is created. Other aspects of the environment are left to nature, assuring that every artwork is a one time creation and can never happen again in just the same way.
